| - I have spent so much time in Ikea in the last few months since I moved into my first apartment in Pittsburgh. This Ikea definitely gets packed for Pittsburgh (not like the big cities though) so be prepared to go early if you do not like crowds.
I recommend looking online through the furniture and writing down all of the bin and aisle numbers. It will not only make your trip faster, but it can be hard to see everything in the store. I got the dark colored MALM bed, dresser, and nightstand, and a brown wardrobe. I also recently bought a Billy bookshelf for myself for Christmas. So really, I have spent quite a bit of time here. Everything is holding up great, and the furniture is very sleek looking.
Additionally, be sure to check out the "as is" section. I got a great shelving unit thing that was already assembled at half cost. It's amazing, and I got it for a steal of a price.
Assembling Ikea furniture can be frustrating, but luckily, my brother is really good at it. So I just have him assemble everything. Otherwise, I don't know if I'd love Ikea as much. Ha!
The cinnamon rolls here make me the happiest camper ever. Be sure to get a box on your way out the door.
The only downside is that the employees can tend to be unhelpful. The store is huge, and if bins get mixed up or things move around, they really can't help you find anything.
