  • Sorry for the delayed review. I have not been on yelp in months. I injured myself back in December. I went to visit Dr. Bahoora here back in December because I had some serious pain going on. I was in tears because it was so bad. He quickly took me in and xrayed and adjusted me. A few hours later I was in worse pain than before. My boyfriend was over and Dr. Bahoora took me back in again. So here I was still in pain, buying an ice pack at Walgreens after my second adjustment. The pain was not getting any better but worse. I could barely walk around the store just for the ice pack because Dr. Bahoora left me in worse pain. I called the office back asking if I could have a copy of my xrays because I was going to visit the ER because I was in so much pain. At first they said they wouldn't be able to that night, then they agreed but made me wait 30 minutes. I sat in my boyfriend's car for 30 minutes in excruciating pain because they were too busy to get my xrays. Yes, they said it was because they were busy. Thank God there were only a small handful of people waiting in the ER at Summerlin hospital that night. I was called quickly. The doctor who examined me must have sense how much pain I was in, because she had ordered pain meds right away and before the pain meds could even take effect I was already being wheeled off for a CT scan of my neck to find a probable cause of the pain. Before the medication I could not even sit, stand, nor lie down in the same position for more than 5 minutes at a time. If it was not for my boyfriend driving me that night, I probably would have had to call an ambulance to get me to the ER. I had such high hopes because Dr. Bahoora told me twice how he had a patient who was in so much pain that he had to carry her out of the car into his office and she felt better afterwards. Only later did I question what he had told me. If she was in so much pain that she could not even walk, how did she drive there and how did she get into her own car. He had a nice demeanor but I feel as though I probably would not have had to go to Summerlin Hospital that night if only I had visited another chiropractor. I would not recommend his office to anyone, not even those I despise. PS. I was told by his front staff that they do take my insurance when I was filling out the paperwork. Needless to say they were "mixed up" and they took my insurance at the North Decatur office so I ended up paying full price for my failed exam. And they had the nerve to try and call me within the first few weeks of my visit so they could schedule my next visit. I will never step foot in his office again!
