Got a buy one get one free coupon for Wicked Spoon buffet from United Airlines when I was flying into Vegas. To use the coupon, you have to first stop by the Identity memership desk at Cosmopolitan to sign up and exchange the coupon for a official two for one pass. You also get a rewards card which you can use to earn points by dining at Wicked Spoon.
We got to the end of the buffet line around 7:30 and got seated about half an hour later. The service was attentive and they did let us know 15 minutes before the buffet was going to start putting food away.
My overall experience with the food was 3.5 stars and here's why:
1) The prime rib was not Lawry's quality but it was definitely above average (easily $30 in value).
2) Their ribs had a great smoky flavor which I have not discovered at the other buffets in this price range.
3) Their salad and vegetarian selections were delicious - my favorite was the heirloom tomatoes with mozzarella platter (see pic).
4) The quality of their gelato was as good as the other top buffets in Vegas.
5) Where this buffet fell short was their seafood selection - no raw oysters and shrimp cocktail (which was not a big deal for me) and the Asian station.
My overall experience with value ($41/pp for dinner but with the coupon it was two for the price of one), their service and dining here is a solid 4 stars and I would be back for their prime rib, smoky grilled ribs, salad selections, crab legs and the gelato!
