Holy wow!
I've always tried to come for breakfast on the weekend and the wait is always crazy long .
I finally got smart and came at two on a weekday to try their lunch instead . No wait this time and we were seated next to the window so we could enjoy the beautiful view of the Capitol. As recommended by everyone and their mom we tried the cheese curds ... And they were worth the hype . The cheese nuggets weren't over breaded like most places seem to do . They did seem to be a little greasy but it's not grease from the fryer. It's more like cheese grease from the cheese being so fresh and warm ( if anyone has melted cheese on a plate in the microwave as a kid you'll know what I'm talking about ).
All appetizers come with one sauce and you can add more on for 50cents.
For our lunch meals we each ordered burgers; house burger and the spicy burger . Both were amazing and had its own unique flavor. Each was paired and sauced with the perfect flavor buddy combination . What stood out to me the most was the beef patty itself . It had great spice , great quality ingredients and was cooked to the correct medium rare . I'm from Milwaukee and I would take these burgers over soblemans and Aj bombers any day .
This place could easily charge $10-$12 per plate but they don't . I was amazed that we got a full lunch plus an appetizer for under $30.
I will be back for their breakfast soon !
