I wish I could give less than 1 star. I also wish uber was already setup for business in Las Vegas because this was exactly why everyone hates taking cabs. I took a cab from the SLS to the Westgate and apparently my driver had a big problem with the short drive. Um.. Sorry that my girlfriend has style and can't walk two blocks in $300 heels and 90 degree mid-summer desert heat. Sorry that my trip was only a half a mile. I tipped the guy at Westgate a buck for whistling me a cab. I tipped my cab driver $4.00 on a $4.79 cab fee. As he drove up to the Westgate he even had some smart ass comment about it being too short ride of a ride for him and made me feel dumb for paying via cc. So what about the $3.00 extra fee. I would have gladly paid an extra $3.00 for him to not push his attitude on me and my girlfriend. Sorry dude that you didn't hit the jackpot and get someone to ask for a ride across the strip so you could take the long way and take advantage of an out of town guest in this city. Sorry your job doesn't make you happy. You got tipped $4.00 on a 90 second drive! I will never take Western Cab again (oh wait, actually I don't have a choice in this wonderfully city). FYI to anyone reading this, I would not have written this except I tried calling Western Cab at 702-736-8000 (as is listed on my receipt and when I googled them) but the line was busy for 10 straight minutes or was out of service. And a big thanks to cab number 0221 who wasn't even gracious enough to thank me for his 81% tip. In what service oriented business does the person being tipped that well not at least say thank you? Horrible service. Horrible experience. Horrible knowing that there is probably nothing that can be done to make up for this and nothing that will happen to the driver to rectify this situation.
