I loved the portfolio of this place and contacted them by email to set up a consultation. I asked if I should come at a specific time the following day. I was told it's not necessary. I got to the location an hour and 10 minutes before closing, I didn't want to be the annoying customer that comes 5-10 minutes before closing. I was told no one's able to help me anymore that day.
I contacted Black Pearl upset telling them I specifically proposed a time instead of showing up to prevent something like this from happening - no one wants to waste time and money for something like this. They apologized and few days later I called requesting a specific time for a consultation. I named my favourite artists and I was told both had a wait between 2-6 months.
At this point I'm done forever with Black Pearl. First of they want you to travel to their location not caring if anyone is there to help you or not. Secondly, they didn't tell about the long wait via email. So, if you're lucky enough to actually get a consultation, you may get bad news anyways if you want your tattoo done in the near future. Few days later I went to another place and I'm having my tattoo done in few days.
Great work Black Pearl but please respect your customers' time and disclose the long wait BEFORE making the customer travel to your location.
