| - I'm not quite sure what it is with fancy restaurants and dim lights but I found it hilarious that a couple at a neighboring table was using the light from their smart phones to read the menu. Anyway.
Waited around for the Groupon to try out this place, which came highly recommended by my friends, and it was pretty good. My boyfriend and I got the salad and entree Groupon for two, but the portions were, in my opinion, rather small. However, I'm not sure if this goes for the regular menu as well, or if it's just one of the limitations of using a Groupon. On a side note, the four-courses-for-$40 menu insert had my favorite phrase, "all you can eat", but I'm not sure if there was any fine print to it.
On top of the Groupon, we got two servings of the dark chocolate fondue, and it was delicious - it beat our entrees hands-down. But again, I wish there was more.
Would I come back? It was definitely a nice slow dinner with mediocre service and good food in minute portions. But without the Groupon, I probably won't be back, unless that 4 course dinner was truly, in every sense of the word, unlimited.
