  • What a fun place to see exotic and hybrid edibles and meet some real local entrepreneurs! I found free and plentiful parking at the venue inside the parking lot of the old bus depot. Love that this market is indoors. Most big vendors take credit cards but bring the cash because most prefer it. Floral vendor, juice bar, tea bar, humus man, spice herbalist, roasted coffee and the list continues! In addition to the vendors there are local food trucks outside! I thought that was brilliant and also helped make the event a one stop shop & eat location for all things fresh and local. I thought unfortunately the prices were comparable to Whole Foods and the Farmers Market at Tivoli Village. I'm not used to seeing high prices @ Farmers Markets. I just think that $4 a lb for beets is a bit outrageous but I appreciate the fact that it's local. I think if you were looking for the exotics then you can't put a price on that, right?! :) All in all had a nice time meeting up w/ my pal Lisa R. and exploring yet another local event that reminds me why I love this city we call home!
