  • Don't be a new patient there!!! I brought my 10 year old there because she had massive hives, high fever, and stomach pains. I was referred to this place by her regular pediatrician because it was Saturday. The women at the front desk HATE their job. First she wanted the pharmacy address which is ok and I told her it closed at 6...she rolled her eyes and said something about "printing" a prescription...I had already been to the ER with my 10 year old all night and had gotten a few prescriptions already so I asked her to print it. (Keep in mind we hadn't even been seen yet to determine if we were even going to need one) ...she repeated herself again about printing it or sending it like I was an idiot and didn't understand what she was saying... Second I filled out the paperwork they wanted me to fill out and gave it back to her. I don't have the physical insurance card because it was with my 10 year olds father...HOLY MOLY they had to all of the sudden call everyone and make sure they could take a picture of the card instead of having a physical one present...(remember...her DR was the one that referred us there) Ok I understand...I had already written all the card info on the paperwork they wanted me to fill out but she insisted she keep my phone while she inputs the information...but not only did she want to keep my phone but she told me to "Please sit down ma'am" ...where I said "You have my phone" (a phone in a wallet case with all my credit cards... She proceeded to be even more condescending about keeping my phone and insisting I sit down...then finally she slid my phone across the counter and said to take it until she called me back up. She called me back up quick...she then stayed I needed an emergency contact. I told her I didn't have one because all my family was out of state. She then said "I CAN NOT PROCEED WITHOUT ONE!" WAIT WHAT??!! First off...it was my child being seen not me so the lady next to her said "have her put herself as the contact!" So I went to do that and the other lady refused to let me be my daughters emergency contact. I was floored!! I don't think they can get away with refusing to proceed because I don't have an emergency contact!! I grabbed my paperwork...AND MY PHONE and left!! Meanwhile my daughter is still in pain from the big women with a chip on their shoulders!!!
