| - I was sent here by my dentist (Dr. Miller) to get all four of my wisdom teeth out on Nov. 3. Before you know it, I was in and out in less than an hour and a half.
We got here a half hour early because we live in Henderson and we were worried about traffic jams on the freeway. The front desk ladies were very friendly and guided me through paperwork and required payment. Before they had to take my teeth out, a doctor guided me to an exam room to get an X-ray of my teeth. No more than 5 minutes later, another doctor took me back to the operation room...I think her name was Annette.
Annette lectured me on what I will expect before, during, and after surgery. Dr. Kikuchi came in a while later and put an IV in my left arm -- I was a little terrified because I hate needles and I had a bad experience with a blood draw last year, but I did not feel a thing from the IV, which was very surprising.
I was out literally a minute after the IV was put in my arm. I woke up, which felt like a second later, and just like that, it was over. They guided me to the recovery room where I could rest for a while. My mom was the one who drove me home, and because of the anesthesia, I did not know who she was for about 30 seconds. When I was ready, the doctor from the back room helped me out to the car because I was still dizzy.
Dr. Kikuchi is an amazing oral surgeon, and I will definitely recommend him to friends and family.
