6/20/16 We went in to Team Ford to purchase my son's first new vehicle. The ad in Sunday's paper listed several 2015 F150 trucks on sale and the ad included a large section advertising 0% financing for 72 months on all 2015 F150s. This seemed like an easy purchase. We would purchase an advertised 2015 F150 and received 0% financing for 72 months. WRONG! We were told that we could have either 0% financing or the sale price which included a bunch of Ford rebates, but not both. We walked out.
6/22/16 We called Team Ford and asked if we could receive the 0% financing and
x-plan pricing which my son was eligible for. They told us yes, but came up with a price that was no where near the x-plan price we were quoted online from the ford partner website. Team Ford explained that we could not receive the x-plan price that we were given on the ford partner website because it was too much of a discount. Really?? This is a 2 year old vehicle that hasn't sold and the 2017's are ready to come in. Obviously, they did not want to sell these trucks.
People from Team Ford continued to call for the next few days trying to get us to purchase a truck from them. We contacted a different Ford dealer on the opposite side of Las Vegas and purchased a 2016 F150 for under the x-plan price and were offered 0% financing. We had purchased our previous 3 vehicles from Team Ford, but after this experience, we will never again purchase from them. The service problem we had with them on 7/5/16 sealed the deal.
7/5/16 I had an appointment with Team Ford's service department to have the airbag recall done on my car. When my husband arrived, he was told by the service writer Luu that we did not have an appointment and that Team Ford did not have any airbags. Luu had made the appointment with me and told me they had an airbag with my name on it. Someone came up to Luu from Team Ford and suggested that he check his appointment schedule. He checked it and told my husband that he had indeed scheduled an appointment for my recall. He told my husband to go home and wait for someone to call about our airbag. Seriously??
7/19/16 I wrote a letter addressed to the director of the service department at Team Ford expressing my dissatisfaction with the way my appointment was handled and asking how anyone was supposed to know to call me. To this date, I still have not received a call or any type of contact apologizing for the mix up and poor customer service. We will be taking our vehicles and service elsewhere. I suggest you do the same.
8/12/16 I have been contacted by Team Ford regarding the sales experience. They were concerned about what happened and with the fact that they lost a customer. It was nice to know that someone cared about my experience and expressed a desire to earn back my business in the sales department.
I still have not heard from the service department.
