  • Ive been going here for ten years, just recently a few days ago, The 202 where I live is under massive construction we have been running over nails the last 6 months from all the construction. Again my wife and I but this time we ran over a couple of huge bolts in the freeway and caused us both in two different cars getting a flat tire on the way home from my sons track meet. At the time we were using the spare tires I just put on. I work on cars on my free time also I am well knowledgeable about plugging and installing tires done it many times. I could plug these tires at home but the bolt was too big and left a huge hole in the tire. NOTE: I used these tires ONCE and went 30 miles in them that's it. I called Discount tires spoke to an Eric there, he said these tires are worn. I said you can still see the paint and rubber stems still on the side from being BRAND NEW. Then He stated they are worn and I didn't no what I was doing. I kept my cool and said even with the warranty I still have to pay 40.00 for the tires. This place nickel and dimes you to death. BRAND NEW TIRES with a extended warranty and they still charge me with the extended warranty. I got them fixed but told them after this I am not coming back. In fact My son just got tires from COSTCO and was treated better, got a better price and better tire. Also Costco is open Sundays to do tires which Discount isn't.
