| - My friends and I got a cabana because really that's the best way to do a pool party (of course if you have $$$ to spend). Either way, you're probably going to spend just as much on booze at the bar. Our servers were friendly and attentive. Make sure you check which DJ is spinning and if it'll be your genre of music. The main pool was cold. It could've been a few degrees warmer. The atmosphere was okay. I can't speak for the bar as I didn't get a drink there. And if you want water, you have to go to the drink station, which exists in one location, the exit.
The reason for my 1 star review can be attributed to security. The check in process is worse than airport security at LAX. Feminine products, bandages, facial tissue, perfume, etc. were not allowed. I must have missed the sign where all these items were listed. I'm surprise my phone made it through. They also lack professionalism, and do not respect your lawful rights. A friend of mine was having a conversation with another friend of ours in our cabana. Out of nowhere 2 security guards with another 2 or 3 behind them barge in and yell at him to "get up." Before he could do anything they forcefully pick him to his feet. One gets in his face like a drill sergeant. Next thing I know they're escorting him out like he's being arrested, and no one in the group knew what was going on. Security also never got an explanation of the incident. The execution of these events couldve been better. Even if my friend needed to be removed from the premises, there was no need for belittling or forceful handling. If you want someone out, all you have to do is ask. If they're resisting and causing trouble, then force may be used. The security staff uses poor judgment and power trips.
Even with the friendly and patient servers (specifically to our cabana) I do not recommend this place. Given that I had a great time with my friends, because we all know it's not where you are but who you're with...there are other pools with better music, larger venue, larger pools, stiffer drinks, and a security staff that respects people, treats them fairly, and is truly looking out for the safety of people.
