| - After all these years, how do I keep showing up on Sundays? Here's the biggest takeaway - Hobby Lobby is closed Sunday. I think I read it's due to the company's religious affiliation, which is also evident when you're shopping inside.
This location is well organized, well stocked, clean, and always full of clearance items. The clearance is obviously the best part - up to 90% off - can be last season, right after a holiday, or super random misfit items in the back left corner of the store.
Hobby Lobby does have a few items I can't find elsewhere for very specific crafts or to get the best deals on ornaments. They have a large section devoted to pretty trendy crafts you see on Pintrest a lot; I'm not sure how else to describe the area, but it's fun! HobLob is not my go-to for fabric, however; I leave that to Joann.
Staff here are crabby. Not pleased with new card/chip readers (I don't need to hear about that), not pleased with presenting of a digital coupon, and just a general lack of smiling or greeting. It's such a treat to buy the goods at Hobby Lobby, I want the whole experience.
