  • I still have a handful of places to try, but this is probably my favorite burger place in Las Vegas. There's a set menu of burgers, but you can still customize your burger if you want. There is a varied selection of proteins for your burger, the sides are solid, the beer list is lengthy, and you can customize a shake or sundae for dessert. It's usually busy and on a wait, so service is usually relevant to the time you dine. Our party of five came when they lifted the gate at 11 AM on Mother's Day. We had a reservation via Open Table, but didn't need it. The restaurant though was at capacity by the time we left. We sat in one of the booths which are each equipped with their own television. Service was sufficient as our server wasn't too busy. The kitchen was timely most likely for the same reason. Their efficiency also included the food runner, who was aware of seat numbers and brought the food to each of us describing the dish without having to inquire who ordered it. I've had the Austarlian Wagyu burger on my last visit and it was delicious and quite memorable. This time, I ordered the Hubert Keller Burger ($24.85) which they were able to keep the lean buffalo meat juicy. The portion of blue cheese wasn't too large and overpowering and the red wine shallot reduction added to the depth of flavor with an acidic note. The skinny fries were hot with crispy exterior crunch. I did miss on the beer pairing as my Firestone Union Jack IPA was a little too high in the IBU units. That's my bad and I'll get it right next time. Also ordered was an angus burger, a turkey burger, the burger bar sliders, and a chicken caesar salad. I had a bite of my wife's angus burger and it was still juicy even though she ordered it well done (she should be punished accordingly for ordering her burger at that temp). Next time, I'll have to try the lamb. Pricing is expected for a gourmet burger joint on the Strip with alcohol ordered. Before tip, our bill was $133. If the third visit is as good as my first two, then I'll have to put Burger Bar at the top of the list.
