This a review of the service department. They are still using old car repair tactics to rip people off. Or at least that is what they tried to do to me. Took my car in and agreed to pay $100 for a diagnostic because the warning lights were on. Was told it was due to a malfunctioning gas cap. Yes, all I had to do was replace the gas cap. When it came time to check out, I saw my bill was $150. I asked why and was told they charged an extra $50 to put on a new gas cap. I told them I never authorized that and I can get an OEM gas cap from Amazon for $8. Instead of immediately agreeing to take the unauthorized charge off, the service advisor tried to negotiate with me. I shut it down immediately. I can see how some people may not be able to put their foot down in these situations and it sucks that there are still dealerships out there still using these unethical tactics to run up charges.
