| - When we first moved to Calgary, we asked people where we should go to buy a TV and they said London Drugs. We were confused why we should go to a drug store to get electronics, but upon entering realized that like Canadian Tire, the business name is misleading. There is probably a pharmacy tucked away in a corner somewhere, but the rather large store is packed with groceries (including many imports, organics, and convenience foods), cosmetics, a photo lab, electronics, clothing, decor, odds and sods furniture, etc.. The normal prices are slightly cheaper than Shopper's but more than Superstore (no surprise). Where you can get some real deals are the countless flyer and manager's specials lining the shelves. We don't go here too often, but always leave with something when we do!
