  • A wedding and a baby shower were taking place on the day of our visit, so, obviously this is a nice place to hold one's event. Lots of great things here, the herbal gardens were a true sensory delight. The sunken garden with waterlilies or lotus - reminiscent flowers was so peaceful. Japanese section was also nice. Don't miss the treehouses, plural, seriously! And the glass house, I won't ruin it for you but... It's modeled on or inspired by the cloud forest of Montevido (sp?) in Costa Rica, so think epiphites, tropical things, waterfall. And, they have a butterfly release, I don't know if it's daily, or just weekends or special occasions. Being able to observe butterflies in a quasi-tropic setting is an thing most people who love nature and animals/insects will enjoy.
