Customer service desk opens at 9am and nobody is here to tend to me and it's 9:15am. They already paged twice on the overhead. Yeah, very unprofessional and disappointing! All I need to do is drop off a FedEx package!
Update: Thank God for the man bagging the groceries for noticing that I've been waiting at the counter for 15 min with no avail. The lady counting the money in the back told me at 9am that someone would be there at 9am. Okay?! So, the man knocked on her door and I told her you're the one that told me someone would be here at 9am to open. She said to the man that she already paged someone, so that's 3x (included the 2 from previous) they paged someone. No one came! Then another woman comes to help but she can't login to the FedEx scanner to scan my package. She looks at the schedule and saw that no one was assigned to the customer service counter. In my experience, the managers or supervisors do the scheduling of their employees. Then, she pages the manager Kevin Bracken who's only been at this location for 5 months. He's apologetic and tells me he's trying to help me and there's no need to be hostile! Really?! I have a right to be upset! I have other things I have to do and I was the first and only customer there at the customer service counter to get help when it opened at 9am. When I took his picture for my review, he got upset and told me I wasn't allowed to do that. I told him it was for my review on yelp. He said He has the right to refuse service and I needed to go somewhere else to send my package! I told him "no, I'm not! You had me waiting this long and now you're going to try to turn me away?! " I told him I would erase it if he would just finish my transaction so I can leave. Why do I have to negotiate with the manager just so he can do his job?! He's very unprofessional and I have a feeling that he was the one that didn't schedule anyone to work the counter today but that's left to be assumed.
