  • WARNING! THIS PLACE IS THE BOTTOM OF THE BARREL WHEN IT COMES TO TAKING CARE OF THEIR GUESTS! Doug, the assinine prick that works the front desk along with the condescending "Geneal Manager" Michael, both can suck a fat one. My husband and I have been staying at Best Westerns for years now and at locations all over the United States. We are at Best Westerns so much that we literally refer to BW as our 2nd home. We are Diamond Selects in the Rewards program and there is no higher. With that said we had never been treated with such disrespect in our lives. EVER. Not even in our 30s! And 12 years and 2 kids later we are being escorted out by the Tempe Sherrifs department (Mind you, they were VERY nice and couldn't believe what was taking place. They were were very confused as to why we were treated so horribly!) It reminded me of my senior prom, getting busted by the cops because my compadres and I were acting like idiots. However, we weren't being obscenely loud, roaming the hotel...3 sheets to the wind and knocking on neighbor doors while hiding and giggling as if it were the funniest thing to ever happen to us. NOT EVEN CLOSE... All of the harassing front desk phone calls, banging on our door at 10 am, embarrassing remarks & threats in front of other guests along with numerous 30 mins to get your shot and get out of my hotel threats...oh and lets not forget our police escort! This all came into our lives because of a 50 dollar deposit. When we checked in 3 days prior, the very friendly Robert waved the deposit, I'm assuming because he actually cares about the guests who stay there and treat them like human beings should be treated. He understood that we have had, a streak of unfortunate luck and that we had been living hotel to hotel! (basically on points that we had been saving...scratch that, hoarding.. for a much needed and well over due vacation. Just us two!) For a 2 months we had used 38 thousand points at BW. Several free night thru Hotels as well as Booking, maxed out 2 credit cards and leaned on our family and friends too. And all this because of BLACK MOLD. And yeah... Our luck struck again! Insurance didn't cover our lap of luxury in our now fabulous life of hotel living! But hey... there was always free coffee and the excellent contentail breakfast! Oh Joy! Ok...long story, I apologize. In a breif sum... Robert waved the deposit. We received a demand 3 days later and just because DOUG wanted to be a turd and by now it was really just principal of the matter now. If you need a deposit get it in the beginning. Of next morning. Don't we wait 3 days later and then be a disrespectful asshole to your guests...DOUG & MICHAEL. MIGUEL is by FARRR the best employee you have as far as customer service. What a stellar employee who actually enjoys his job! Delightfully welcoming with a great sense of humor! Adam, who is the maitence man for Pete's sake, was FAR more qualified, had more respect and sophistication than the 2 morons you have running this particular BW. There is a SERIOUS lack of communication between the employes here and well, that's obvious. Fire the 2 Jack asses before it's too late and promote Miguel and Adam... Your guests are the reason that your hotel is still stands and without them you have nothing. Last but of advice... Be careful who you choose to cause caous with. Unfortunately for you, I am in Hotel Management. My company is the one that your company pays to come in and rescue it because it's slipping thru your pathetic arthritic hands faster than you can bend over. Congratulations... I'm sure I will be your boss some day soon... And then who will have the last laugh? Oh and before I forget... Lovely Doug and his employee of the year ways, had the nerve to ask me what my "issue/problem" was in reference to my service dog! WTH!?! Which by the way, we have all the papers and certifications of registry. So yeah... Dear ol Doug, what you did is highly illegal, and beyond the means of NONE OF YOUR GODDAMN BUSINESS! It was very disrespectful, humiliating and to be honest... Just down right embarrassing! YOU WILL BE SO DAMN LUCKY IF A LAWYER DOESN'T READ THIS, CONTACT ME AND CLEARLY TAKE THIS ON AS A CASE BECAUSE, SERIOUSLY... ITS A NO BRAINER! WIN... WIN... THEN-AS LUCK WILL HAVE IT... MY BEAUTIFUL FAMILY AND I WILL BE BACK IN BUSINESS!!! WHY IS THAT??? CAUSE ..AS LUCK WILL HAVE IT -OUR BLACK CLOUD MOVED ON AND FOUND SOME ONE NEW.. Awww Ooops..Sorry Michael. You are a low down dirty conartist, a manipulative bold face liar who only acts on scenarios that benefit you. I might as well add in thief too. I'm honestly not sure on that one but if I were a gambling lady... I'd let it ride! All on 13 baby! Michael, you're pathetic. You should try another approach! Cause yours ain't working for ya! Try not to act like your better than EVERYONE ELSE cause guess what? You put your pants on one leg at a time and yes, your shit stinks too! Sincerely, Your soon to be boss!
