Took my wife to the Banner Estrella Emergency Room with a broken and displaced fracture of the left humerus. Waited 4 hours to get in behind colds, sore throats, etc. who should be seeing a PCP. No priority for injuries. Very distant demeanor from all employees. Doc S. saw photographs and sent my wife home to get an appt with orthopedist. Heard stated that they did not want to bother the orthopedic surgeon. We are waiting three weeks for that appointment. Gave my wife a useless black sling. This place is no longer a true trauma center since treatment is now subjective. This doc should be canned for her non professional approach to my wife's condition. Everyone seems too overworked to care about patients. Seniors beware. You are too old to old to be cared about. Sitting at home 3 Saturdays later with no treatment. Try imagine the pain and suffering this doc is putting my wife through. Fracture is displaced. Recommend stay away... no real help here based on my wife's experience! Only go if you are a gambler. I also think that their accreditation as a trauma center should be reviewed. They give more trauma than they relieve!
Recently went to a "stand alone" Emergency Room. Not to bad. If they can't handle, they will transport to a hospital of your choice.
Also found out the Banner Boswell best Emergency Room in the area. Don't waste time in local emergency rooms. Docs need to go back to school... especially Dr S.
I just received a response from "Matthew" telling me to contact them by private message to "address" my concerns. Private message? No number, no way to "private message." Just corporate words...
