  • So an advertisement came up on my FaceBook page from this company with an opening deal of 2.5 hours for $19.99. This is an internet based company, so everything is done online. The only caveat is the first time you interact with a company totally online, you don't discuss with anyone who will come and do your cleaning. You are notified by e-mail who is coming. If you are like me, and you've hired a few people over the years, you know some are great, and some are a waste of your time and money. I was impressed first with the sight. They asked a lot of specific questions like, "Are there any specific rooms you'd like us to stay out of?" or " So you have any special instructions?" They also gave specific time allotments for special projects. I opted to focus on my shower/tub and to have my refrigerator cleaned out. Both projects for me which are a challenge because of physical limitations. Bryan showed up RIGHT ON TIME! I was very pleased to hear the knock at the door. In walks a young man (to my surprise.... I usually expect a woman) who was ready to work. I told him of my surprise, and he politely offered to exchange for a woman if I felt more comfortable. I told him that is was alright, that I was just surprised. I walked him through to show him my special requests and concerns. He was kind, polite and very, very professional! He did a meticulous and immaculate job! He would come and ask me to inspect each job to make sure I was happy. I have several custom pieces of furniture that have different finishes. You can not use typical cleaners on these finishes. He was very knowledgeable and careful with all my furniture and treated everything with great respect! So Thank you Homejoy! I will be using you again in the future, and specifically requesting Bryan McLaughlin!
