| - I've come here on multiple occasions to look at their offerings and "talk watches" so to speak with the salespeople there and my experience has been mixed.
Being young (early 20's), many salespeople do not give you the service you deserve because they are quick to write you off as a window shopper and not a "real" customer. In this regard, my experience has always been positive. I came to Berani on multiple occasions to try on and look at their offerings, and Nareg (one of the salespeople) has always been happy to let me try on and explain a little bit about the movement, brand history, etc.
My experience was ruined by their "Omega Specialist" (an older Asian woman), who was very defensive and borderline aggressive when I asked her a simple question about the watch I was considering. Given the watch's interesting history with NASA and the Apollo 11 mission, I was curious whether or not the modern model used the same movement it did during the moon landing. She became defensive, saying how the watch is highly regarded, and it doesn't matter whether or not the movement is the same. She did not answer the question, and her tone of voice was very off-putting. Nareg seemed a little taken aback also, and I assured him after that my decision to purchase the watch would not be affected by her rude remarks. I asked Nareg for a quote, and I left.
I came back a few weeks later with my brother and Nareg came out front to greet us. Nice. We purchased the watch and Nareg was very professional throughout the whole process.
If you're going to visit Berani, ask for Nareg and don't settle for anyone else (especially their "Omega Specialist").
