This review pertains to the Korean Food Bazaar event which was held at this church.
First timer attending this event and thus one pays the price of being clueless on
how to get the goods in order to settle all those images of authentic Korean dishes you were expecting to bite into. Out of luck this time. Great food waits for no one.
To start with, I agree with all of the comments and summaries from the previous reviewers regarding this event. I could not believe the wonderful turn out and the bustling activity associated with it. It reminded me of ants or bees entering and exiting their mounds or hives. There was a system to the madness but I figured it out a little to late!
The volunteers and other bazaar goers were as helpful as they could possibly be in guiding me and my fellow yelper friend work through this maze of activity. The printed up menu listed a wonderful assortment of terrific sounding dishes. We both discovered that only one or two dishes were available so we went with it. It was good, but we both agreed we would have preferred less foreign crunching matter in the noodle dish.
All in all, the day was lovely and the actual church itself is a beautiful structure and it was great seeing all the hard work and dedication that went into this yearly affair.
