  • This was our 3rd visit, and as much as we wanted to have an excellent time, they made it nearly impossible. It's a 30 drive for us, so we were prepared to settle in. There is no table service, which isn't a problem, unless the bar seats are all taken, and then you have to stand there and cool your heels waiting. Grabbed our $7 drafts and sat down but unfortunately the acoustics are a real problem. 3 men (one was the owner) sat down next to us and made it too difficult to hear each other, so we moved. It was 38 degrees out and the door was propped open; when asked the bartender kindly shut it. Lovely music was playing, which was abruptly shut off and the tv volume blasted on. When I asked what happened to the music I was told they wanted to listen to the basketball game. It was halftime, so 4 commercials in we left. When I told the owner we were leaving because he shut the music off he said "great." Very disappointing.
