This is one of the worst Toyota service departments I've been to. So bad in fact that I'll start driving further to go to another dealer. Service Adviser Lou Simmet embodies the qualities that make so many people reluctant to go to a dealer service department: he's rude, smug, and does everything he can to inflate a bill regardless of whether or not a car needs the procedure he's pushing. He uses strong arm tactics to try to separate the customer from their money. Consequently I've learned to avoid him, and therefore Toyota of North Charlotte, since he is their Service Manager.
