I wasn't particularly impressed. Food wasn't bad, but it also wasn't super great.
My friends both got the bratwurst stuffed pretzel which tasted good. Both agreed they would have liked it more if the cheese were melted. I got the Sunny (and was SUPER excited bc it hits pretty much all my food buzz words - prosciutto, arugula, pear!?!?! Goat cheese!?!?!?!? Does life get any better?). Anyways I was a little disappointed bc the naan was far bigger than the toppings filled in so it seemed like I wasn't eating very much. The flavors were good, but I did feel it was a better hot dog conceptually than in practice.
We also split the fries - poutine style. I do have to pipe in that I'm from Montreal so I like my poutine. This isn't what I would call "poutine" but rather just fries with some gravy & cheese on top (not cheese curds). They didn't taste bad whatsoever, but don't go in with the expectation of getting something spectacularly poutine-like! It's just a topping here.
I'm actually wondering if I had done this place wrong - maybe this is more of a day time place? Maybe there should be more dogs around? Maybe it's more of a food truck thing? Overall, I wasn't impressed and wouldn't come all the way back to Phoenix (esp for a $7.50 hot dog). If I saw a food truck around wherever I was though, I would consider stopping by!
