  • This place was exactly what I was looking for: cheap, clean, quick, and quiet. Strolled right in on a Saturday afternoon and got a 30 min foot massage + 60 min shiatsu for a measly $60 after redeeming the $5 Yelp coupon. (Note: you may have to be a tad forceful about the coupon, lest the girls at the cash register shrug "No English!" when you explain that yes, you're entitled to a discount because you purchased a Special Package.) Nitpickery aside, my masseuse literally unearthed a litany of unholy demons that were residing deep within my neck and back muscles. "No pain, no gain" she grinned, and boy did she ever live up to that mantra. For someone with a *really* screwed up back (thanks, boobs!) who actually feels WORSE after traditional relaxing Swedish massages, I need someone who attacks tension knots with no mercy and digs deep to soothe your jacked-up muscles and she did just that. Unfortunately I don't live in Toronto (sniff) but next time I'm back in the city I'll definitely hit this spot again.
