| - Usually the employees are friendly, but helpfulness ends there. A few things:
I had the iPhone 5 issues that caused recall and repairs (battery, home button replacement). This required several trips to the Apple store at West Town, none of which were anything near efficient. First signing in to some person with an iPad, waiting long enough to fiddle with everything in the store, etc... Just really annoying to take several hours of my time to address a factory issue.
I've also learned that if there is anything you can do online yourself, rather than offer to help (like any other store in the world), they send you packing to figure it out.
I can't believe I keep buying iPhones, but alas. I called Apple last night to try and change my ""Appointment"" to pick up a phone today. They said I couldn't change it but show up anytime today and we'll work you in. Again, another trip to the Apple store to literally pick up a phone I've already paid for and I get sent packing only to be told there is no flexibility in pick up times.
Looking forward to 6:00 tonight to see how long it actually takes to pick up a phone. Literally, check my ID and hand me a box.
They need a bigger store and more people to help. For a company that is worth billions (with their shortage of actual people to help I understand how they've made so much money), they really could invest a little more in actual humans to help customers.
