  • This company is the worst rain company that I've ever worked with. My home warranty contacted them to repair my microwave and told me that I would get a call from Chilly Willys. Well fast forward one day, no call. So I contacted them myself and scheduled an appointment for the upcoming Thursday. Technician arrives in his personal vehicle and proceeds to my microwave. I explained the issue and he asked for a cup of water, places it in my microwave and then says it needs a "magnetron". He pretends to call his office with the part number because he didn't carry it on his truck. Really, you are driving a pickup with 2 doors. So he then states that the part is in Las Vegas, but heeds to get approval from my warranty company before he can pick it up. So I then ask how long it will take, so he replied Monday at the latest"! So I told him the days I work and would like for him to come back Thursday morning and he said that he will call the office and schedule the appointment for Thursday morning. Monday comes and I receive a phone call from the someone asking to come out on Tuesday and fix my microwave, but I explained do her that I notified the tech of my work schedule and Thursday would be best. She stated that the tech never relayed that info to her, so she scheduled the app for Thursday between 8-10am. So Thursday arrives and I'm waiting, 10 o'clock passes, no tech, 11oclock, no tech. So at around 11:30, I called the office and stated that I had an appointment from 8-10 and no one ever showed up. So she asks for my address and placed me onhold.....5 minutes later she returned and said my warranty company was suppose to call me. I asked why and she stated that it will require 2 techs and a dolly to pull the microwave out. So at this point I'm about to lose it, but maintained my composure. I asked why the company didn't call and let me know because my appointment wasn't with my home warranty, it was with Chilly Willys. Again, she stated my warranty company was going to call me. So I kindly asked "if the technician knew it would take 2 people, why wasn't all this conveyed to my warranty company when approval was received for the part needed"? Again, she places me on hold, comes back 5 minutes later and said "technician said home warranty company is going to call you".. At the point I'm getting frustrated, but again I maintained my composure. So, I asked her that if I never called them then I never would've known my appointment was cancelled. Guess what her last words were...yep, "your home warranty company is suppose to call you". Then she hung up. So immediately I called my warranty company and explained what happened. Hmmm, my warranty company never got any cancellations from Chilly Willys. While on the phone with my warranty company, the cancellation comes in...how convenient Chilly Willys.
