  • This has been a long overdue review. My 3 month-old Chi broke her left mandible on August 21, 2015. My 8 y.o. Shiba attacked her out of jealousy , and it was really heartbreaking for me. We brought her to the Charleston Animal Hospital where she was kept overnight then she was referred to Dr. Mason at the Las Vegas Veterinary Specialty Center. Dr. Mason is really good at what he does. He is very knowledgable and he was especially patient with me even if I kept crying all the time. The techs were very helpful and compassionate towards us too. They definitely knew what they're doing, and made me feel better that my puppy is in good hands. Luckily, Dr. Mason didn't recommend surgery. My Chihuahua had to wear a tape around her snout and back of head to keep the jaw from moving. She wore that for 2 months and 1 week, and now her face is as perfect as it once was prior to the attack. I'm very very thankful to the superb team from Las Vegas Veterinary Specialty Center... And thank you Dr. Mason for your expertise and honesty.
