| - I love Publix, I always have. I lived in Florida for a few years when I was a kid and remember always getting Publix Cuban subs and hitting the beach. If you want a GREAT Sub, this is your place. Otherwise, it's like walking into your Grandma's house to grocery shop. Every single employee that walks by you, acknowledges you and asks if you need help / how you are doing. The deli counter is staffed by some excellent people, always extremely friendly and helpful. The bakery is full of some super kid-friendly ladies who wait while my kiddo says shyly, "May I please have a cookie?" and then wait for her to decide whether she wants sprinkles or chocolate chip. They are always helpful in slicing a loaf of bread for us or even cutting a loaf in half and selling us half, as we rarely need a whole.
A man in the butcher area and a woman (Monica) that samples things in the deli area know my daughter and I - always make mention of her often self-chosen outfit or ask her about her stuffed animal. They are just SO FRIENDLY! Not a sour attitude in the entire store and that is such a refreshing thing these days.
If you need amazing flowers, a great produce selection or extremely fresh meat - Publix is your place. If you want a grocery store where your groceries are loaded for you and everyone you see has a smile on, this is your place. Check it out for yourself, you definitely won't be disappointed! So glad we moved to Indian Land, Publix is the icing on the cake!
