| - I went there with a friend on 06 April 2018 to see ABBAMANIA with Suzie McNeil & Guests the British Legends. It was quite the change from going to the ACC and other venues, where you practically get padded down and have to give up your half full bottle of water, here the staff was friendly and no problem bringing in your cell, and a bottle of water. The place was spotless and all the staff were very friendly and polite. The show was excellent, a Cher impersonator who was excellent but at the end of her performance she did say a nasty comment about Sonny Bono. Also David Bowie, Bee Gees, Paul McCartney, impersonators. After the intermission, the ABBA clone came on and they put on a very entertaining and excellent show. A bit short though. However we were both delighted with their performance.
We were 5 rows from the front and it seemed we could reach up and touch the artists. Amazing.
Also if you wish to see a show at Roy Thomson Hall, I suggest you go to their web site and order tickets directly from them and you can print the tickets at home. I noticed the same section that we were in, Ticket Master and other ticket sellers, the seats were more expensive.
