| - BEST DAY EVER!
My new husband and I visited probably 10 venues before coming across Wedgewood. They were beautiful, but either too expensive or missing something. After meeting the coordinators and attending an open house, we knew we made the right choice picking this facility.
DJ Murphy- the best DJ in Las Vegas hands down! I've been to many weddings, as I was born here in this city and have never seen someone who was so passionate and charismatic as he. DJ Murphy even came to our rehearsal and helped direct everyone (I've heard it's rare that a DJ even comes to that). Everything ran so smoothly and communication with him before, during and after the wedding day was positive and honest. He catered to everything we needed and even stayed after the reception to make sure our guests got home safely. He is funny, entertaining and thoughtful.
Megan and Jacqueline were absolutely amazing. If I ever had a question, they replied to my email or called me back within 8 hours or less. They are creative and consistent in what they said and did. The rehearsal was easy and organized. Megan honored everything we asked for and was very patient with our group. The coordinators had champagne and a plate of appetizers for us and water for the whole wedding party after the ceremony. It was so refreshing and wonderful after the busy morning. The coordinators made everything run smoothly and efficiently. The reception room was arranged so beautifully and it looked even better than we imagined and discussed in meetings. They had our new picture as newlyweds on the screens and even took the time to write us a thank you note!
Patty, the banquet captain, as well as her crew of 3, were awesome. She made sure our drinks were always full and that we had everything we needed. Patty was professional and considerate of our guests' needs. She was always accessible and graciously packed the surprise grooms cake for us to get the next day. Patty also gave us a bottle of champagne and wrote a note congratulating us.
Stephen Salazar, the photographer, and his assistant, Jenelle, were the best! He is creative, patient and extremely professional. Stephen had us send him a list of family members and organized the first look. Everything ran smoothly and we stayed on schedule because of it. Loved listening to him direct everyone as he knew how to capture the shots. We did our engagement shoot with him so we knew the wedding day photos would come out just as great. Get this photographer on your package. Even use his assistant if it's too expensive as she is just as great and personable. Seriously.
The bartender, CJ, kept the drinks pouring and did so well making our signature drink. I cannot tell you how many compliments we got about the food. Appetizers were delicious and plentiful. People told me how they were almost full from them. We opted for buffet style and never regretted it. That room set up is so spacious and I love that it is separate from the reception. I can't remember the chef's name, but he introduced himself to us and was very nice. The food he prepared was incredible!
All in all I wish I could live this day all over again! It wouldn't have been possible without the help of this superb team.
