Nice Atmo. Great Service. Iffy Food.
My Manhattan was probably the highlight of the evening... Bobby's is a nice place if you're into appearances and stylish decor. Our group ordered a variety of dishes from the appetizer, salad, pasta, entree and dessert menus. Food was decent but missed a certain "something" that makes you want to rave about it. Having had butternut squash ravioli two nights in a row with Bobby's as the 2nd night, I'd say their butternut ravioli is nothing to write home about.
The pluses: great cocktails, great bread, good dessert.
The minuses: chef substituting out the main ingredient on your dinner and not being told about it, the wine list is average at best.
This is probably a better happy hour establishment than it is for supper. And ladies, take a very small purse. There's nowhere to hang them on the chairs and no place on the table. You'll be setting them on the floor or behind your tush.
