| - I just started working down the street and was craving South American Colombian food. I did a search in yelp and found this place. I was so excited because being Colombian, I have not been able to find anything Colombian I'm AZ. So I was very excited to go try this place, when I got there, looking at the menu I found that this was a South American / Mexican restaurant. I asked the lady about the menu items and found that the way she prepares all of these South American dishes, are not authentic at all! I was hungry, don't know the area, so I decided to go safe with the Peruvian Shrimp Ceviche, big mistake! When I got to work, the shrimp was soaking in what seemed like some tomato watered down liquid. First of all, authentic Peruvian Ceviche does not have any type of tomato product in it. It's lemon juice, aji amarillo (yellow chile from Peru), sliced onions and cilantro. The sides that come with it are suppose to be some type of boiled potato and corn on the cob (Peruvian corn on the cob), I got a side of popcorn! Will never go back, I'll have to either cook the dishes I know how to cook, myself, or wait until I go back to Los Angeles. Very disappointed, stick to Mexican food, which is what you seem to know best.
