  • I purchased my vehicle from this dealership in early 2014. Immediately after my purchase I contacted the salesman and service department regarding a gear shifting issue. Coincidentally, they could not duplicate the problem therefore, couldn't fix anything. Later finding out there are $7,000 in repairs necessary! 4 months later my starter goes out so I had them pick it up to do the repairs. They advised that I needed a new battery but I could keep the old battery in if I wanted to. I elected to purchase a new battery expecting it to be replaced. Just recently, my battery started failing on me again so I contacted the dealership as most batteries have a minimum two year warranty. Only because I maintain my service records was I able to prove they charged me for the batter because as it turns out they did not replace the initial battery. WOW! I asked the service manager, Mike to please, simply reset my automatic windows because with a battery change, those features are affected. Instead of politely resetting these switches Mike became combative with me in front of my 5 year old son. Insisting that they did nothing wrong, suggesting my windows did not work when I arrived, and recommending I purchase a new switch board for my window panel...at this point I had become furious as he called over a service tech. I could not tell you why he did this as he responded for the mechanic. Mike proceeded to tell me to take my vehicle to a Lexus dealership to prove that they caused the problem and to take him to small claims court, even laughing. He stated that he sees I don't take my vehicle to them for service. Okay? If I didn't and this were my first experience, I would never choose to bring my business to their run down ill-managed facility. For the record, a simple phone call to Lexus and they gave me 10 second instructions on resetting the windows. what I take from this and share with you is that if Mike and his team do not have the basic skill set to reset feature after changing out a battery, I would think twice about taking my vehicle there for any maintenance concerns. If you do go, do not expect any kind of customer service whether it be sales or service. They are in my phone as Unreliable Auto as that is the more appropriate adjective.
