A good Vietnamese restaurant with attentive service? Say word! Drinks were kept filled, and we were actually check upon every once in a while. One server automatically brought over extra napkins as (I'm pretty sure) she saw me wipe away the condensation to my delicious avocado smoothie with my only napkin. That was nice. BTW, I'm not a huge fan of guac or avocados in general, but in smoothie form - it's addicting.
The grilled pork over rice/vermicelli is flavorful and the portion size will definitely fill you up. The meat to noodles ratio is higher than you'll find at other Vietnamese restaurants, so you're not left at the end with a bunch of noodles you don't know what to do with. The banh xeo (yellow sizzling pancakes) was mehh as I think it could have used double the filling (bean sprouts, thinly sliced pork, and shrimp) and the outside shell was a bit on the crunchier/darkened side. However, it was served right with plenty of green leaf lettuce and herbs to wrap it up and dip in fish sauce...yum.
It's been a while since I've had the noodle soups but I remember them being darn tasty. Until next time...
