  • Why is the City of Surprise listed in Maricopa, AZ? I think it needs to be changed. I just submitted a request to Yelp to change it. I'm kind of a fan, so a 4 star rating is slightly generous. This city is still expanding and new houses and businesses are being built. From my brother's house, it is about a 10 minute drive to find a restaurant, gas station, bank, shops, etc. He lives in the outskirts of the current boundary of the city. My dad was hospitalized in the Acute Care Rehab Unit of the Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center. Some of the nurses & assistants are great, others, not so much. From what I've seen of the OT, PT, and Speech Therapist, my dad is getting good exercises which are making him stronger! In the City of Surprise, I have eaten at Culver's, Tom Yum Thai, Barro's Pizza, Arby's, Ray's Pizza, and Streets of New York Restaurants. Of course, there are more I want to try! I sure hope I can! I hope Surprise will "surprise" us with more businesses and keep growing! There's still quite a bit of uncultivated land around the outskirts of town!
