| - It's been a while since I last went to Bacchanal Buffet. The prices are a head-scratcher now since they only have 2 price options for brunch and dinner. It's pretty messed up in my opinion but from a business sense I could understand why they're doing it since a lot of people usually came early for breakfast before and stuck around long enough for the lunch items, saving them money in the process.
Paying $40 for brunch seems almost ridiculous to me considering that just a while ago, dinner at the Wynn Buffet was $35. At that price point, I really would rather just get a simple breakfast meal at Mon Ami Gabi or Bouchon. Plus, I can't stuff myself silly as I used to when I was younger, so I really can't do buffets anymore. Case in point, with this visit I only did 3 plates and called it a day. But I definitely made sure that I got my money's worth.
First off, I made sure that I had plenty of cold pressed juices. I think I had 4 bottles of their Hibiscus Berry Juice. It was so refreshing and lightly sweetened.
On to the food plates.

Bloody Mary Oyster Shooter, Veal Osso Bucco, Rolled Sole, Coconut Ceviche Shooter
The best thing on this plate was their veal osso bucco and it was amazing! If I wasn't going to try anything else at Bacchanal, I probably would've had more of this. The marrow was dangerously good and the braised veal was so tender.

Pickled Greens, Spicy Thai Beef, Poke Salad
I think with my second plate, I made a huge a mistake and had a huge amount of poke salad. That immediately filled me up.
Because I was already reaching complete fullness after just two plates, I went straight to dessert. And my dessert plate was loaded!!
3rd Plate -- http://bit.ly/2kxtq8t
Sugar Free Mango Pudding, Limoncello Sorbet, Ginger Gelato, Bonet, Exotic Fruit Sago, Green Tea & Sesame Seed Opera Cake
I'm not much of sweets person, but honestly, this was the best overall plate of food I had from the whole buffet. Everything was good, but my faves were definitely the Limocello Sorbet and the Exotic Fruit Sago. Both were very sweet and refreshing!
All in all, Bacchanal is still my buffet of choice on the Strip, just slightly edging by Wicked Spoon. It's a still a great dining experience when you're with a group and the food selection is still great and extensive, but it's not one buffet that I'd rush back to visit again and again simply because it's become way too expensive.
