  • I thought this was worthy for my first post for coming back on to Yelp since air conditioning is such a big deal here in Vegas... Air conditioning is a necessity in Vegas and you take it for granted until something goes wrong with your AC Unit. After the first time something went wrong with one of my units, I thought it'd be wiser to invest in regular maintenance, rather than risking having to pay thousands to replace one whole unit. Decided to try out Super Service with a spring maintenance special they were running. Don came by on time even though I live way out on the edge of town in Henderson. He came in and checked that the air was flowing out at the right temperatures using an infrared thermometer gun. He did a walkthrough of the whole AC system and took some time to explain things to me and answer my questions. He went up into the attic to check the portion of the AC System up there. (I took a look up there too. I had NEVER been up there before having owned my house for 12 years and had no idea of what to expect . I was surprised to see just how much of my AC System lived in the attic.) He checked my two AC units outside. My first AC unit stopped cooling and needed a new capacitor last summer, so I knew the second unit would also need a new capacitor soon and he found exactly that. He was able tell the capacitor was going bad after checking it. He didn't try to upsell me or try to tell me that I needed to buy a whole new unit. He recommended exactly what I had expected from previous experience which is only what I needed and that it was probably better to replace now before it went out. I took his recommendation and he had the part stocked in his truck so he was able to do it right away saving me from a cooling outage during the hot Vegas summer(also saving me from having to miss work to have to be home for another AC emergency.) He hosed down the external filters of the units(and he even went above and beyond and helped me fix the nozzle on my water faucet I had previously thought would need to be replaced!) I'm glad I have Don at Super Service Cooling and Heating to take care of my air conditioning units now. You can trust him and he won't rip you off like other places. He's a cool guy, polite, friendly, smart and he knows air conditioning. You don't have to look any further. I will definitely recommend him to all of my friends and family too.
