  • Wow - how have I walked by this place on so many vacations and not stopped in? It blows other Scottsdale Mexican food out of the water. If I lived here, I would be there every Monday for shrimp tacos (2 bucks!!!) and 6 dollar BEER-A-RITAS - they have taco Tuesdays as well... Both types of shrimp are amazing - one is just grilled shrimp and rice - simple but tasty - and the other is kinda of a fried Asian-y shrimp with cabbage, also killer. I didn't like their other stuff as much, but still good. The carne asada was steam, just nothing to write home about,. I really liked their crispy chicken taco, and the chorizo and potato taco is a great idea but falls flat because the chorizo is sort of bland - which is strange for a place I found all their food to be sort of spicy. Came back for lunch our last day before leaving, I will definitely be back! .
