rev:text	This has been our experience. We first met Shay for an estimate on installing our floors. Thankfully his price was way too high and we went with another licensed contractor. We invited him back to our home to discuss a fireplace refacing and custom cabinet build since he mentioned custom cabinets were his specialty when he came to estimate our floor. Once in our home he noticed we didn't have molding and offered to sell and install a product he had. The product was what we were looking for and we went through our home for some other small projects he said he could complete. The agreed upon pricing for the install and product for floor molding was $1350. The date for him to start was set for the following week. Fast forward to the date he was supposed to start. He came started to measure and left after 3 hours. The next day he informed us it would be another $200 for corner pieces he previously quoted at $45 which was $1 per piece. Oh and we would have to wait for the work to continue another day since we requested them painted prior to install. He did not come back to complete any work for a day. When he did return he worked another few hours and announced he had to leave and would return later that evening to finish. He came back worked another few hours and said he would not be able to return to compete the project until next week due to not working on Friday or Saturday. Finally a week after the project started he came back to complete all install and caulking which he promised would all be done in the same day. What I came home to was a shock! It looked like we hired an amateur! The pieces were cut unevenly and huge gaps were left..some corners did not even meet! The pieces were all to be painted the same color that mind you was purchased by myself and there are obvious color differences. This is completely opposite of the job we thought we were paying for. I am so overwhelmed by all the things that need to be fixed because of this person. I didn't even mention that he did not clean up after his work and we were finding bent nails all around our home including our 3 yr old daughters bedroom. Complete disrespect for our home and our position as his clients. I do not even want him to come and attempt to fix the issues in which we are left with. You may wonder why we paid him at all.. he requested payment In full up front. Our mistake! Please see the photos I posted for proof of poor work. UPDATE Not one hour after this review was posted we received this response. Also, note we never signed a contract we only had an estimate of work which clearly was not accurate. Hi this Shay's partner. Shay is in the hospital with his mother. He came to you directly from the hospital. You are warned that If you will not remove the laying feedback on yelp you will be sued in the court of law. This is regular a process of wood work. The installer does not need to clean your floor it is the homeowner responsibility! Everything is being done by the contract that was signed and defined per your request! If you will look closely on the contract. It mentioned clearly Not including corner pieces. Time frame is not mentioned as well and this is a very reasonable time frame. If you wish to declare a war with our company after you signed a contract I can tell you you will lose a lot of money by trying to ruin our reputation and hard work. Again read the contract carefully and I suggest you do the right thing otherwise we will meet in court !
