I bought a Groupon for Great Body Massage as a Christmas present for my Boyfriend. We both have called at least once per week since Christmas and we have yet to get anyone on the phone to book an appointment (note I'm writing this mid-April). I have just now received an email from Groupon saying that they have to cancel the deal and I can email them for a refund--here's hoping I get it.
When buying the Groupon I was a little bit skeptical because the pictures on the website did not seem to be of the actual facility. Well, now after reading other people's reviews, I guess I'm glad my boyfriend didn't have to go to this place. I'll just buy him a nice massage at a reputable place.
I have bought a handful of groupons in the past year and have not had a negative experience until now. I guess I'll try to do some more due diligence next time I buy from a place I don't know.
