By far the worst customer service at any Home Depot. And stupid staff too. Tried to return a leaf blower that electrocuted me. First, no apology. Second, I figured they would just take back and replace the motor unit (thats what my local Home Depot would have done) but no, they told me I have to bring the entire kit back in to return as they don't return defective things to the supplier, they just throw them away. Really ?? Plus if I return it all then they've lost the sale. I'm off to Lowes for the first time in a long time. As an added bonus, they don't honor competitor coupons either. Why shop here ?
I did drive across town to my local Home Depot (before I moved). Serene and Eastern. They simply replaced the defective item from a new box and said they would send it back to the manufacturer. As you would expect. Great customer service.
How can these both be the same chain store ? Night and day.
