I ran in today to grab some milk. I spotted some Western cream cheese on the shelf as I walked towards the cash and thought maybe I'd pick some up for lunch. I could see some plain kind hiding behind the onion flavoured one. As I reached behind to grab one of the plain containers I noticed that the two containers at the very front were obscuring the others. Out of curiosity I quickly checked the best before date on them and lo and behold they were the SAME containers I saw back in June. Over 2 months expired - best before June 4th or 5th or whatever it was. What's worse? They were purposefully placed in front of numerous other cream cheese containers (which were best before tomorrow might I add) so that an unsuspecting customer might actually buy them.
Honestly? Really? I mean come on! Who's running this place? Don't they think someone might get sick eating cream cheese that's two months passed their best before date?!
