  • Dr. Kavathia did what none of the dozen or so previous gastro specialists had ever done for me: He found and we are treating the underlying conditions that made me incontinent for the last 30 years. This clinic is wonderful. The staff is kind and knowledgeable. I have never had to wait more than 15 min., and Dr. K is easy to talk to, willing to partner with us crusty old people--and he is a reassuring presence when you most need one. They have their own out patient surgical clinic and, yes, they will probably recommend that you have testing there. My experience was that the testing was the key to discovering the real problems. I did not ever feel that they were doing more than was needed in order to help me. The results pretty much support that impression. I can make social commitments and know that I will NEVER be humiliated by an uncontrollable bowel again. They gave me back my confidence, and I cannot thank them enough.
