  • Safe to say I won't be staying here again. The issues with this hotel are numerous and the lack of any effort to remedy them are just as problematic. In fairness, some of this is attributed to a busy weekend (I Heart Music Festival, Life is Beautiful, etc.) but even if this was the perfect storm of activity, Vegas is known for having tons of hyped events throughout the year. So it really doesn't excuse their inability to handle customer concerns. We purchased a non-smoking room but were moved to a smoking room. Despite at least six attempts to constantly check with the front desk, we were rebuffed each time with the feeble excuse that a request for a non smoking room is not a guarantee. That was their inconceivable response. Our room was uncomfortably permeated with the smell of smoke and using the a/c was near useless. The a/c control unit was unresponsive and you couldn't control fan speed or programs. We requested that they do something and they claimed they would de-odorize the room upon room service. However, when we asked the cleaning lady to be sure de-odorize, she said she couldn't do that. Given this lack of interest is customer satisfaction, we were not at all surprised to see stains on the bed sheets. The walls are paper thin and we had neighbors doing the dirty which resulted in their headboards consistently slamming the wall. The rooms on this floor also had some machinery make a loud rattling noise from the ceiling. It occurred around 3-6am and jolts you from your sleep. Happened every night we were here. But the coup de grace was finding a previous guest's soiled tidy whites underwear behind the bathroom door. (Caution: photo included). Look, I get it and this was a busy supposedly sold out weekend. But we checked everyday for people checking out of non smoking rooms or for cancellations. Rather than check the system, front desk staff seemed content to just fall back on the excuse of non-smoking rooms aren't guaranteed. No real effort to check the computer. They just stare straight at you and tell you they're sold out. For the complete disinterest in helping the customer they deserve this bad review. I don't consider myself overly sensitive to cigarette smoke but imagine having to sleep and stay in that unrelenting smell. Just a complete headache and waste of money staying here.
