  • The Hyatt Regency earns my praise for employing a very friendly and helpful staff that speaks both French and English. Which is definitely needed when you are planning a large event and have booked a substantial room block on their property. Though the rooms are not unique or very large, they are clean, new and do the job in a fantastic location. They include all of the amenities you'd expect from a quality hotel and do not disappoint when it comes to housekeeping. The lobby and bar area, SIX Resto Lounge, is pretty swanky and you can tell was just redone for the modern, sophisticated clientele which was perfect for what we needed. And at the end of our conference, when we needed some last minute shipping help, their employees were wonderful in helping us in a pinch. Their Regency Club rooms are nice as they come with special access to things otherwise not included in the standard room rate. The mall underneath the hotel and it's location on St. Catherine really do make it enticing for the out of town and out of country traveler.
