Came here for lunch yesterday and was pleasantly surprised by the large portions and delicious food on their lunch specials. To start, the fatoosh salad with cucumbers, peppers, tomatoes, red onions and lettuce and the hummus. The salad tasted very fresh (we were seated right next to a display case of fresh veggies) and the hummus was pretty awesome with their pillowy puffed mounds of fresh pita bread. So good! Plus the portions were definitely much bigger than I expected; I started feeling pretty full after the apps.
For my entree, I ordered the frarej (I think that's what it's called) which was a roasted half chicken on top of tomatoes, potatoes, squash and mushroom ($13). The half chicken was huge! Also really tasty, tender and juicy with slightly crispy skin. I wish I could make chicken like that! The bf ordered the lamb kabobs which came with rice pilaf and some veggies ($14). Everything was delicious and definitely worth the price, especially since the portions could make two meals for me :)
